Mike has been looking after my boilers for years 

I particularly like the fact that he genuinely enjoys what he does and consequently he does it very well indeed. He works quickly and cleanly, all the while explaining what he’s doing and why.  He loves the process of problem solving.  When my boiler was completely filled with washing machine water, caused by a frozen pipe, he calmly assessed the situation took components apart and dried them and in the end restored the boiler to perfect working order.  He didn't just replace the major parts and present me with a big bill. I can't recommend him highly enough!

Absolutely First Rate 

Mike not only did an A1 service but his knowledge and advice has saved me a fortune in running my house. It's never been so efficient. I genuinely would not use anyone else. A true professional and someone who just loves what he does. I'd give you 6 Stars if I could.

Professionalism

Mike came out to us Saturday afternoon within an hour of our call to repair  our boiler. He has all the parts on his van so was able to diagnose and replace the part within the hour. Very professional service and we will be using him again to service our boiler. Highly recommend Mike.

Quality & Responsiveness

I contacted Mike after being let down by another firm who had quoted over a £1000 to repair an oil burner problem that we inherited when we moved house.  Mike responded to my initial email contact quickly and although unable to do an onsite repair that day, offered me some great pointers on what to look at over the phone.  I swapped the capacitor and happily the burner fired up successfully.  Will certainly be looking to use Mike's experience and skills to service the boiler in future.  Highly recommended. Professionalism and Quality

Having a pair of oil boilers and also just arrived in a new house in a new area and not knowing anybody in 'the trade' is a worry. After a quick review of a number of oil boiler service engineers Mike was booked in. I liked his mater of fact approach on costs before any commitment for repairs are made and his onsite explanation of his own trusted processes to diagnose any issues outside a normal service.  One boiler was a simple service - the other was a lengthy unpicking of some highly dubious bodges.  At every stage of the repair(note the drop of the word service), Mike explained each cause and effect of the problem(s) - it was a voyage of discovery from blanked off water feeds, stuck switch over valves and fried circuit boards.  I went from having a Frankenstein monster of a boiler to a purring boiler that is operating as per the spec when first delivered.  If asked I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mike for any boiler work required.

Mike has been an absolute star 

Coming out to us and fixing a problem within an hour on New Year's Eve and then going above and beyond to find a second leak under the floor on New Year's Day. He is very thorough, takes time to explain what the problem is and what needs to be done to fix it and is very generous with his knowledge.  He's a lovely guy, very respectful of both you and your property, makes the minimum of mess and gets the job done with minimum of fuss.  Highly recommended for anyone with an oil-fired boiler.  You won't find better service.

I called Mike when the boiler packed up on New Years Eve

When I spoke to Mike he asked really good questions about the boiler and what lights were on/off and the circumstances of it not working. He was able to come out the same day (within 2 hours) which was a miracle given the day of the year!  He was professional and efficient, he fixed the boiler in an hour or so and provided an overview of what the problem was and how he had fixed it, which was really useful to understand.  He was fantastic and I'll definitely use him for years boiler services and any work in the future.  I would 100% recommend Mike.

I contacted Mike on-line 

For a quote to fix a cold radiator.  He rang me the same day and, after a very useful conversation about the radiator and my old oil fired system, which I intend to replace next year, Mike gave me contact details of suppliers and installers which I could consider when I was ready to go ahead.  And the cold radiator?  I took Mike's advice as to what the problem might be, followed his instructions, and fixed it myself!  Amazing customer service.  Thanks for your time, help and advice Mike.

Mike Shelton came to service 

Our very old Worcester Heatslave oil boiler, which needed a couple of things replacing. This proved no problem for Mike since he carries a vast selection of Worcester-Bosch spares - so nice not to have to wait for a part to be ordered and fitted a week or so later.  We found Mike totally competent and knowledgeable.  He talked us through the repairs and explained very clearly why parts needed replacing.  

He comes complete with a ready smile and wicked diagnostic kit.  Look forward to your visit next year, Mike.  Thank you.

Mike Shelton visited us by appointment 

To find out why our oil-fired Greenstar Heatslave  boiler wasn't working.  It was the first time we'd used him so we didn't know what to expect.  We needn't have worried: Mike was knowledgeable, experienced, efficient and most important honest.  He fitted a new fuel pump to our boiler and had us back in business within the hour.  Mike takes a priced in his work and his care for the environment.  Would I ask mike to help us again and would I recommend him to friends?  Yes, empthatically on both counts!  Thanks for your help, Mike.

After 6 weeks of no hot water 

In my kitchen and a bun fight with a useless home emergency insurance company I called Mike.  He was out within 24 hours and sorted the problem within a nano second of arriving like a zen boiler wizard.  He then talked me through my boiler step by step and advised me what work needed doing if I wanted it.  his pricing is totally clear and transparent and he is a great chap - personable and informative.  I can hardly hear my reconditioned bionic boiler running now and the savings on fuel I imagine will be huge.  Thanks Mike - I shall be singing your praises all round the shire.

Boiler Lock Out

Many will know that awful moment when you realise that your boiler has locked out and you discover that the oil tank is empty.   I managed to arrange an oil delivery fairly quickly and then I rang Mike Shelton to ask if there was any chance that he could fit in priming it for me.  Efficient and helpful as always, Mike was at my home in little over an hour and very soon after I had hot water and hot radiators.

Mike is the 'steely eyed rocket man' of boiler engineers

We contacted him at the start of the day and by lunchtime he was in our kitchen working his magic to get our old oil boiler working again. Mike came out to our property 

I'd bought where the boiler wasn't working.  I needed to get the place warmed up because it had become damp and musty whilst empty, so he came at short notice which was great. He used his diagnostic equipment to isolate the fault very quickly, carried all the necessary spares and had it working within 10 minutes.  We were very impressed with the service and reasonable cost and would definitely use him again and thoroughly recommend him.

Just phoned Mike about a problem 

With our Worcester Boiler as we had no hot water. Even though Mike was on holiday he talked us through the issue and sorted the problem out over the phone. Didn't even ask for payment. Amazing guy. Now trying to persuade him to come and service our boiler annually. This guy really knows his stuff!

Mike has been our go to person now for several years 

With a regular boiler service completed without fail. Mike is keen to explain any issues so that you fully understand any arising problems and deals with them there and then. We have never known Mike to have to go and fetch a part which is great if something has gone wrong.  Mike truly is trustworthy and reliable and we certainly won't be going anywhere else.

What a fantastic person

Mike took the time to help me and talk me through what I needed to do in order to resolve my issue over the phone. It was a simple repair but has made a huge difference to me and my family as living without hot isn't very nice.  I was able to resolve the simple issue myself with Mike's help.  I'm extremely grateful and I would recommend mike to everybody I know. A few weeks back we had an issue with out Oil 

Boiler in a property we had just moved into. We called Mike at 10:30 on a Sunday and he was onsite fixing the issue by 11:30.  Very friendly service and more than happy to explain what he was doing.  He also helped diagnose and an issue with the Oil tank its self, which is now also under repair.  Wouldn't hesitate to recommend, hope he will be able to come and visit in a year for the next boiler service

Sent Mike a text 

At 8.50 on Saturday morning and he rang straight back. Unfortunately I was outside his call out area but he took the time and trouble to talk me through a safe, temporary fix that got me up and running by 9.00.  I thought this sort of service no longer existed but I was wrong.  Weather forecast for this weekend is colder than Russia and thanks to mike we will be nice and toasty!

Mike sorted a problem over the phone for me, that others seemed to have no idea about. All I'd had was doom and gloom and offers of someone coming out in a week - Mike sorted problem straight away, and I've now booked him to do all servicing for me. He's a great find, absolute expert.
